snagging inspection
WHAT'S INCLUDED?

A snagging inspection is a type of inspection that is carried out on a newly constructed or renovated property before the final handover to the owner. The purpose of a snagging inspection is to identify any defects or snags that need to be fixed before the property is considered complete.

The aim of a snagging inspection is to ensure that the property is handed over to the owner in a satisfactory condition, with all defects and snags rectified. This helps to ensure that the property is safe and the owner can move in with peace of mind.

What's Included?

Thermal Imaging - £15

Our team offers the option of including a thermal imaging camera, either as a standard part of the inspection or as an add-on service. The use of thermal imaging cameras can aid in pinpointing the underlying issue within a building, and this method is both efficient and time-saving for all parties involved. Building thermography depends on detecting insulation defects by utilising the stark contrast between indoor and outdoor temperatures. Most of our snagging surveys take place during the colder months or following periods of strong sunlight.

De Snag Inspection - From £249

De-snagging is to check if the defects from the original snagging list have been rectified and that nothing has been further damaged during the repairs.

When your builder informs you that all repairs have been taken care of, we will visit your new home to check if they have been completed as per the snagging list.
